About The Farm...

The fields at Wood's Market Garden have been producing fresh food for the greater Brandon community for over 100 years. Known far and wide for our delicious sweet corn and amazing strawberries, we also grow over 50 different kinds of vegetables and fruits on about 25 acres of sandy loam soils. We began growing organically almost 10 years ago and are starting to reap the benefits of treating our soils as a living organism. At about that same time, we constructed our first greenhouses for producing early tomatoes and bedding plants. Our unique variety of plants keeps people coming back year after year...as well, folks have come to appreciate a "real" tomato in June.
